The indoor track is also a great alternative to running or walking outdoors during winter weather. The cardio floor has a variety of different brands of equipment sure to meet your work-out needs and the main level stretching area is a perfect location to meet with a personal trainer or work out independently. The three fitness rooms host classes ranging from yoga to small group training with a variety of experienced staff. The leisure pools have play features and amenities to entertain the kids, as well as lap lanes for rehabilitation or lap swimming in a warmer body of water. The aquatics section has an indoor and outdoor leisure pool with slides, an 8 lane competition pool as well as a lazy river, steam room, sauna and hot tub. The facility is home to a full-size (or two smaller) basketball courts that can host volleyball, pickleball, basketball and other gym activities. The Laramie Community Recreation Center built in 2004, has a wealth of things to offer the community. Children under age 16 must have parental authorization to use the facility independently or be accompanied by an adult-We still welcome families and your children, please inquire at the Front Desk for additional information 721-5269, Option 7.Reservations are no longer required, although if you are coming for a specific use, we recommend checking the calendar for the appropriate area of the facility. Capacity restrictions-Capacities are limited for in person fitness classes and pools.Masks are not required at the Laramie Recreation Center though we would ask those who feel ill please refrain from visiting the facility.
